The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club stands directly opposite Hotel Glendower. The 19th Hole takes its name from a tradition as old as the game: the place where the final hole is properly concluded. The room carries the atmosphere of a members' club warm, unhurried, and hospitable to long evenings. A 150 year old Victorian billiards table presides at its centre, as it has for generations.
